《Father Figure》完全跳脫泰勒以往的情歌筆觸，這是一首權力、忠誠與背叛的戲劇化敘事。歌裡的「父親身影」像是黑道教父、導師、投資人與情人的綜合體，他扶持一個年輕人上位，卻被野心反咬一口，最後親自收回一切。
讀這首歌詞，我感受到的是：
🔹 權力遊戲裡沒有純真，所有「愛」都是投資。
🔹 忠誠是最昂貴的奢侈品，一旦失去便不復存在。
🔹 那句反覆的「I protect the family」更像是一種誓言與詛咒同時存在的聲音。
對我來說，這首歌是泰勒在玩一個「角色敘事」：她化身為掌權者，唱出一段關於收養、提攜與毀滅的故事。
